You must be at least 16 years old. Keep your login details private, give us accurate information, and tell us immediately if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for everything done through your account.

Some features are reserved for members. Where a paid membership exists, the price, billing period and what's included are shown before you pay. We may change features, prices or tiers with reasonable notice. Access can be suspended if these terms are broken.

Itineraries, budgets, timings, prices, opening hours and visa notes on this site are starting points produced from the details you provide and from public information. They are not professional travel, legal, medical, immigration or financial advice. Always confirm entry requirements, visas, vaccinations, insurance, safety conditions and bookings directly with the relevant authority or provider before you travel. We are not liable for decisions made solely on what you read here.

You keep ownership of the trips, notes, messages and documents you add. You grant us only the permission needed to store, display and process that content so the service works for you and the people you invite. You confirm you have the right to upload anything you upload, and you won't upload anything unlawful, malicious or someone else's private documents without their permission.

Inviting someone to a trip gives them access to that trip's plan, chat, budget and documents. Only invite people you trust with that information.

• Don't scrape, resell or republish our guides, itineraries or images.
• Don't attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site.
• Don't harass other members or post abusive content in trip chats.
• Don't use the tools to plan or support anything illegal.

All original writing, photography, design and branding on this site belongs to Salt & Suitcase. You may share links freely and use the material for your own personal trip planning; commercial reuse needs our written permission.

We link to hotels, tours, insurers and other providers, and some links may earn us a small commission at no extra cost to you. We don't control those businesses and aren't responsible for their services, terms or pricing.

The site is provided "as is". We aim for it to be available and accurate but can't promise uninterrupted or error-free service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed flights, refused entry or cancelled bookings. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or puts other members at risk.
